MOPS
What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization that is dedicated to empowering and inspiring women in their journey to be the best parents possible. At MOPS meetings throughout the world, moms of children ages birth through kindergarten gather in their communities to build friendships, encourage one another, and discover practical, proven strategies. It is a place where moms can share experiences, laugh together, and get refreshed. In addition, MOPS publishes a wide range of print and electronic material to further assist mothers in the monumental task of raising tomorrow's leaders today.

Is MOPS for you?
MOPS is for mothers from all walks of life. You do not have to be a "church-goer" or from a specific denomination to join us.
If you are a mom who:
- is pregnant or has a child newborn through kindergarten
- desires to make new friends
- wants to share the challenges and joys of motherhood
- is looking for opportunities for personal growth through trusted resources
What does a MOPS meeting look like?
Our meetings begin with a few minutes to grab some coffee and dessert. A speaker or DVD segment presents a topic that is of interest to mothers with young children, then we spend time discussing it. Examples of past speaker topics include: women's health, finances, relationships, discipline, and how to deal with sibling rivalry. Once a month we have a creative activity - something that you can take home with you that's completed!
How much does MOPS cost?
The cost for the MOPS year is $80. This includes your MOPS International membership (a value of $23.95), which entitles you to a one-year subscription to MOMSense magazine, weekly MOM e-mail messages, and many other great benefits. The price also covers your creative activity fees and dues for 15 meetings. At about $5 a meeting, it's less than a dessert and coffee at Starbuck's! MOPS understands that motherhood often demands a tight budget; therefore, if the $80 is more than you can do, please ask Tiffany about our "pay what you can" policy. We don't want the cost to keep anyone from participating in MOPS! Your first meeting is FREE, so please come and check us out!
